Riverdale Friendship Circle Kickoff Parlor Meeting Recap

We are excited to share the wonderful success of our first Kickoff Parlor Meeting! A huge thank you to Rabbi and Rebbetzin Shemtov for their dedication and support in initiating this meaningful program and for opening the evening.

During the meeting, we introduced the Friends @ Home program and shared our vision for the months ahead. This program is designed to foster lasting friendships between teen volunteers and children with special needs in our community, bringing the joy of connection and inclusion right into the home. Our goal is to create a network of support that benefits not only the children but also the volunteers and families involved.

We were grateful to see so many families join us, both in person and via Zoom, showing the strength and interest in this initiative. We're thrilled to announce that we are starting with our "pilot" families, who will be the first to experience the heartwarming impact of this program.
